DIAGNOSTIC BIKE PATHS

This tool consists of a bike-path designed for the shared diagnosis of streets and their capacity to accommodate bicycles.

It was first implemented in the Providencia commune in collaboration with the Providencia Municipality, the PUC’s Urban Design Masters Program, and MONASH University from Australia. The architecture students, in addition to recording the mobility conditions, created new design proposals for the municipality.

This methodology is based on the work of the Street Plans Collaborative in New York.

This tool has been implemented in:
Workshop Monash;Workshop on Urban Mobility, course on Emerging Urbanism, Magister Proyecto Urbano UC.
