PUBLIC LIFE STUDIES

This tool allows to raise information about the behavior of people in public space, the physical elements that make up this urban space and the occupation load of pedestrians and cyclists in a certain area.

 

Methodology of information gathering that incorporates methods developed by the Gehl Studio, combined with methods of elaboration of the Ciudad Emergente Laboratory.

This methodology includes a series of quantitative analysis tools based on direct observation of the street, which are classified into two types: those that measure public life and those that measure the quality of space.
