She studied for a master's degree in international relations at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2012). She began her career by studying new forms of socializing through the Internet: virtual spaces for debate and digital citizenship (1999).
In the last decade, her interest has shifted toward issues concerning the city. She created a foundation to provide citizenship training to high school youth, where they understood that the material state of the city depends on their ability to update and recover historical memory, allowing for a new quality of citizenship. With Fundación Pacífico Paraíso, they also provide training on the right to the city to leaders of TECHO's housing committees.
In Valparaíso, she has been a neighborhood leader and activist as a founding member of a nonpartisan group of professionals that generated an innovative program for the city under the concept of the Citizen Mayor's Office (2015). She has worked on participatory neighborhood diagnoses to guide architectural projects and served as a citizen participation advisor for the SECPLA of the Municipality of Valparaíso (2016). She has written a book on the experience of the Valparaíso citizen movement, analyzing its trajectory and urban-community program for the city.
