Karin is an anthropologist from Universidad Alberto Hurtado. In 2019, she completed the Statistical Analysis of Social Data Diploma from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She completed her professional practice in 2016 at PAN Estudio consultancy and currently has six years of experience in citizen participation projects in the field of public space design and urban parks. Through an ethnographic approach and participatory methodologies, her professional objective is to guarantee dialogue and conflict resolution in participatory processes, respecting the interests of all the actors involved in a project.

She is currently studying for a Master's in Archaeology at Universidad de Chile in order to develop participatory processes around tangible, intangible, and archaeological cultural heritage, safeguarding dialogue and understanding between different actors and native peoples, contributing to valuing the wealth of the country’s cultural diversity.
