Gustavo has dedicated his entire career to the construction sector, working in both public and private spheres.

In the private sector, he held various on-site and technical office positions at the construction companies VAIN and Mena y Ovalle.

In the public sector, he worked with the SECPLAC (Secretariat of Planning) of the Municipality of Rancagua and provided advisory services to several municipalities in the Cardenal Caro Province, O'Higgins Region. He also participated in the Santiago 2023 Pan American and Parapan American Games in various roles within the Pan American Village.
