Daniela Balbontin
Daniela is an architect from the Pontificia Universidad Católica, a native of the city of Antofagasta.
He has worked in the public-private sphere, coordinating and leading multidisciplinary teams in public space and urban infrastructure projects, as well as master plans and community development with citizen participation.
Her work experience began developing architectural projects in consultancies for different public organizations throughout Chile, both in Mapocho Consultores and in Guixé Arquitectos, in addition to working as an architect in the Planning Department of the University of Tarapacá in Arica to design the Chinchorro Archaeological Museum. .
In 2015, she obtained third place in the Cerros Isla Contest: San Bernardo Green Corridor and in 2018 she participated in the Her Global Impact innovation academy, which sought to accelerate the digital transformation of women entrepreneurs.
Between 2019 and 2021, she worked as Project Manager at Creo Antofagasta promoting initiatives to improve the quality of life in the city with an innovative governance model, actively participating in sustainable urban mobility tables and articulating projects such as street closures, implementation of bike paths, electromobility and road education.
