Constanza cabezas
Architect. Consultant
Architect Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile
Since 2014, she has developed her professional career with a strong focus on urban projects. Her first job, in 2014, was as a collaborator in the development of Mapocho 42K, a project aimed at integrating the city through parks, trails, and a continuous bike path along the 42 km of the Mapocho River's bank. She later worked as an architect on the Nueva Alameda Providencia, a project promoted by the Regional Government and the Ministry of Transport to rethink one of Santiago's most important urban corridors on all scales. Together with Lyon Bosch + Martic, she also had the opportunity to collaborate with Teodoro Fernández’s office on projects more closely related to landscape architecture, such as the Cerros de Chena Park.
Beyond her professional experience, she is passionate about the city and its dynamics. She has been cycling for years and strives to live her life with a neighborhood-scale mindset. From her expertise, she hopes to contribute to creating an equitable city where everyone has access to well-designed urban spaces and can enjoy a better quality of life.
