KIT LA MESA LATINA
The La Mesa Latina Kit is a tool that guides people to carry out their own activity in the neighborhood with their neighbors. Through simple steps and using stickers, posters, decoration guides, among other elements. The idea is that each person has the necessary elements so that they can make their own Latin Table in their neighborhood or locality.
La Mesa Latina is an initiative that seeks to unite migrants with locals through Latin American gastronomy and culture. It was held with great success in Medellín, Lima and Santiago. To make it easier for people to replicate La Mesa Latino, Ciudad Emergente has designed a kit that is given out free of charge to anyone interested in bringing the community together.
It can be downloaded from the initiative's official website (www.lamesalatina.org) or some people were able to purchase the physical kit at the different Latin tables or contests that have been held. It is a co-creation tool because, on the one hand, elements are delivered to make their own Latin table a reality, but they are the same people who, through their motivation and their neighbors, manage to organize and enjoy the initiative.
