Rodrigo Villegas

Public Administrator and Bachelor of Arts in Political and Governmental Sciences, Universidad de Chile. Graduate Diploma in Governance and Public Innovation, CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean / Universidad Central de Chile.
Rodrigo has over 6 years of experience across the public sector, consulting, and civil society organizations. He has served as a Cabinet Advisor for both the Public Education Directorate and FOSIS, where he supported strategic decision-making and managed relationships with public and private stakeholders. He also served as the Executive Coordinator of "La Once Constituyente," an initiative supported by the United Nations Development Programme in Chile (UNDP Chile), driving civil society participation during the Chilean constitutional process (2021-2022).
In addition to his professional career, Rodrigo has been an active participant in civil society through Proyecto Reinserción (Reintegration Project), where he has led civic education initiatives within prison contexts and coordinated key processes for the National Network of Penitentiary Citizens' Assemblies (Red Nacional de Cabildos Penitenciarios). Alongside the Network, he supported the implementation of more than 500 assemblies within Chilean prisons.
