Architect. Consultant
Architect and Master in Urban Project, graduated from the P. Universidad Católica de Chile.
My professional interests are focused on an architecture linked to communities and understood as a tool for building habitat, with an emphasis on the management and execution of works. I seek to design and build spaces that improve people's quality of life and promote community life.
My experience as a laborer during my university years allowed me to value the construction process even more and enjoy the discipline of drawing, especially the development of wall sections and construction details. I firmly believe that architecture is an interdisciplinary and multiscale practice that requires constant dialogue and iteration between parties.
Passionate about sports and city life, during my thesis process I served as a Kick-Boxing teacher in the "17 de mayo" land occupation, as a way to give back to the community that inspired my thesis and project: “Self-construction as a tool to obtain housing and neighborhood: The case of the 17 de mayo land occupation in the commune of Cerro Navia,” an experience that deeply marked my professional and personal path.
Upon leaving university, I began working with my thesis advisor, Sebastián Gray, at his office BGA, on the project for the expansion and remodeling of the headquarters of the Actors Guild of Chile. This experience reaffirmed my conviction regarding the importance of a multidisciplinary and constructive approach in architecture.
